Be an Athlete Camp (June 27-28)

Start the summer off moving and working on your skills! Field hockey, basketball, lacrosse, speed & agility work, plus fun team-building games will be the focus of camp. Girls in grades K-6 are eligible to attend. Alumna Maggie Schwartz (field hockey at Castleton University) and Eliza Barton (lacrosse at Flagler College) will be helping to instruct, as well as Schuylerville High School athletes, Coach Lloyd, and Coach LaBombard.

  • Cost: $30.00

  • Cash or check made payable to SCS is due the first day of camp (proceeds will benefit the Varsity Club-field hockey/lacrosse).

Boys Basketball (June 27-July 2)

The Schuylerville High School boys basketball program will be running two youth camps for students entering grades 2-7. The camps are designed to focus on basketball fundamentals. The boys will have the opportunity to work on skills, play games and receive individual and group instruction. A portion of the proceeds will go to the boys basketball program. Snacks will be provided.

    • Grades 2-4: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (drop-off is 8:45-9:00 a.m.)      
    • Grades 5-7: 12:30-3:30 p.m. (drop-off is 12:15-12:30 p.m.)

Soccer (July 8-11)

The goal of the Schuyler Park Soccer Camp is to create a positive experience and atmosphere, where campers can improve their skills. Schuyler Park Soccer Camp employs a qualified staff of teachers and coaches, with many years of playing, teaching and coaching experience and a true love of the game. The camp will be run by Schuylerville Varsity Girls Soccer coach Paul Rogan for 7-15 year old players. All proceeds of the camp will go to the Schuylerville High School Soccer Program.

Daily Schedule

  • 8:55-9:00 a.m. Registration and drop off
  • 9:00-9:30 a.m. Announcements, warm-ups and warm-up games      
  • 9:30-10:30 a.m. Technical and individual skill development
  • 10:30-11:15 a.m. Small group tactical training
  • 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Small sided and camp team games
