Welcome to the Schuylerville Central School District! Children who will be five years of age on or before December 1, 2025 are eligible to enter kindergarten in September of 2025. As you and your family embark on this education journey, we look forward to working with you and your child during the years ahead.
Kindergarten Registration
Current SRYMCA Schuylerville UPK students
Please note: If your child is currently attending the 2024-25 UPK program at Schuylerville Elementary School, you must complete this form to declare your intent for your child’s enrollment in kindergarten for September 2025. You do not need to complete the online registration process again.
Students new to Schuylerville
- Online registration for students entering kindergarten will be open Monday, Jan. 13 through Friday, March 28. Click here to register.

- The documents listed are required for your child to enroll in the Schuylerville Central School District. Please email all documents to Schuylerville Elementary School Administrative Assistant, Missy Germain, at germainm@schuylerville.org.
Kindergarten Screenings for Students
Once registration has closed for all kindergarten students, parents/guardians will receive an email with directions on how to schedule a screening via ParentSquare, the district’s school-to-home communication system. Screenings will take place in May.

- Go over expectations of children entering kindergarten
- Describe Schuylerville’s kindergarten program
- Share information about Schuylerville’s summer K Readiness Program
- Answer questions families may have about our school
