Amy Jordan’s Life Skills class celebrated five weeks of effort with a book publishing party, recognizing the written and artistic talent of four elementary school students:

- Skyler Doe
- Emma Thomas
- Aliannah Young
The activity was a collaboration during art and library classes, led by Mr. Michael Shea and Mrs. Maria Weeks. Students created their own clay cylinder creatures in art class, and then used their imagination to create stories about the creatures. During the book publishing party, students signed bookmarks for attendees as the designated authors and illustrators who were being celebrated!
