The Schuylerville High School varsity team competed in the NYSPHSAA Competitive Cheerleading Championship at the Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton. Schuylerville had a successful showing, ranking 10th in the state for Division 2 Large Varsity! Prior to the state competition, the team was named the 2023 Division 2 Large Squad Sectional Champion and 2023 Foothills League Champion under the direction of Coach Charlene Becker. The team ended the 2022-23 season with one second-place finish, and seven, first-place finishes.
