On Monday, June 6, the Schuylerville High School Symphonic Band and High School Chorus presented their annual spring concert, featuring a special solo with band performance by Class of 2022 Salutatorian and All-State flutist, Megan Stadel. Stadel will be performing “In a Gentle Rain” written by Robert W. Smith.
Stadel received a perfect score of 100 on her New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) solo performance in the spring of 2021 and was accepted into the All-State Symphonic Band for the 2021-22 school year. Throughout high school, she studied with Schuylerville music teacher, Mr. Michael Craner and her private flute instructor, Mrs. Ann Moehlmann. Megan will attend Nazareth College in Rochester in the fall. Congratulations!
