Schuylerville is among 51% of schools in NYS that are being negatively impacted by the proposed change in the foundation aid formula. On Feb. 16, the district will participate in an advocacy discussion in conjunction with New York State United Teachers, Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, and Senator Jim Tedisco.

Paid for using funds from the federal American Rescue Plan grant, it will serve as a therapeutic space for children with special needs.

36 Spring St. demolition
Prior to the demolition of 36 Spring St. the building was deemed structurally unsound and condemned, with a roof that had caved in. In addition, prior to the district purchasing the building, research was conducted to ensure it was not listed on the Register of Historic Places.

Independent Science Research student wins Eastern Sub-Regional Symposium
High School senior Eleanor Hughes will now advance to the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium Feb. 28-29.

Schuylerville senior basketball player breaks all-time career scoring record
Lukas Sherman broke the record that was held by Eric Stover since 1978. The record now sits at 1,325 points.
