March 30 regional school threats
All three Schuylerville school buildings entered a hold in place advised by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. School districts throughout the Capital Region received threats, and out of an abundance of caution, sweeps of school buildings were conducted by law enforcement.

Students advocate for ‘Healthy School Meals for All’ funding
In June 2022, federal funding expired and districts in New York State began charging students for breakfast and lunch again, unless the student’s family qualified for free or reduced-price meals. Statewide, an estimated 470,000 children are ineligible for free school meals, but live in households still struggling to make ends meet.

Schuylerville hosts Eastern Region FFA Sub-States, 300 students from 32 Chapters compete
Schuylerville students who placed in the top two will advance to compete at the NYS FFA Convention in Buffalo on May 18-20.

BOE adopts 2023-24 budget proposal; voters to elect three members to the Board
Qualified voters will be able to vote on Tuesday, May 16 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the District Office Board of Education room.

Throughout the course of the school year, the district conducts announced and unannounced drills to ensure that our students and staff understand what they need to do in case of an emergency.
