Voters pass school budget, elect three members to the Board of Education
Residents passed the $38.4 million proposed budget for the 2023-24 school year by a vote of 515 to 102.

Arielle Sowle receives DAR Good Citizens Award
Created in 1934, the award is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship, and recognizes high school seniors who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities.

High school student artwork accepted into juried Talent Unlimited magazine
Talent Unlimited is an annual literary arts journal featuring outstanding poems, essays, photographs, paintings, drawings, and graphic designs created by students in grades 7-12.

Envirothon Team advances to state competition
The state competition will be held at Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY on May 24 and 25.

Elementary principal Rose Beckett accepts position at Shenendehowa CSD
Beckett has served as Schuylerville’s elementary principal for the past four years. Her last day with the district will be Friday, June 23, which is also the last day of school for students.

April 2023 water quality testing
To ensure safety and wellness, the district will continue to periodically perform water tests to ensure the quality of drinking water for our students, staff and visitors.

Senior Chris Buettner performs at prestigious Eastern Division Honors Festival
Buettner was among the more than 200 students selected from school music programs across the state, joining a total of 600 students who participated from schools across the east coast.

Schuylerville junior to perform with Castleton University Jazz Ensemble
Kimberly Brandt has been rehearsing with the band during the spring semester; the program is a Tribute to Wayne Shorter, the legendary tenor saxophonist.
