Students advocate for ‘Healthy School Meals for All’ funding
In June 2022, federal funding expired and districts in New York State began charging students for breakfast and lunch again, unless the student’s family qualified for free or reduced-price meals. Statewide, an estimated 470,000 children are ineligible for free school meals, but live in households still struggling to make ends meet.

Varsity cheerleading team ranks 10th in the state at NYSPHSAA championship; four students named Foothills League All-Stars
The Schuylerville High School varsity team competed in the NYSPHSAA Competitive Cheerleading Championship at the Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton. Schuylerville had a successful showing, ranking 10th in the state for Division 2 Large Varsity!
