Girls indoor track & field athletes named 2022 Section 2 champions

Food Service Dept. launches “Free Fridays”
Due to an excess of Supply Chain Assistance Funding, the district will be able to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students in grades K-12 every Friday through the end of the school year, beginning Friday, Feb. 10.

7th grade students experience hands-on Revolutionary War lesson from Ft. Ticonderoga educators
The engaging 45-minute program incorporated history, geography, and math to provide context to the daily experience of American soldiers during the Revolutionary War.

Creating a branding committee was part of the district’s goals for the 2022-23 school year, in an effort to establish consistent use of the district’s logo on printed and digital materials.

Virtual learning snow day information
For the 2022-23 school year, Schuylerville has three emergency days built into the school calendar. The first three snow days will be traditional snow days and the fourth a virtual learning snow day. Click here for more information.

Two open Board of Education seats for 2023 election
During the May 16 annual budget vote, voters will elect two members to the Schuylerville CSD Board of Education for five-year terms beginning July 1, 2023. Click here for more information.

Girls indoor track team wins Foothills League Championship, athletes break several school records throughout season
Foothills League Championship The Schuylerville High School Girls Indoor Track team won the Foothills League Championship at Union College on Jan. 22. Life Skills students host annual Jingle Bell Shop, 2,000 orders placed
Students participated in production, inventory, customer service, stocking, re-stocking, sales, and bagging, and donated $500 in profits to Caring and Sharing and the district’s Backpack Program.

September 2023 kindergarten open enrollment

Middle school technology students to participate in large scale woodworking project
Curtis Lumber donated enough lumber for Schuylerville students to build 300 birdhouses, as part of the 5th annual Ballston Spa Birdhouse Program.
