The Schuylerville FFA Chapter has officially kicked off its annual Fruit and Cheesecake Sale. Through this fundraiser, the FFA is able to provide funds to pay for its state and national FFA dues, as well as subsidize the cost of trips, conferences, and other activities that students are involved in.
To order, visit http://freshfruitorder.org/SchuylervilleFFA or see an FFA member. Before processing a payment online, be sure that you select which FFA member you would like to credit your purchase with. The three members that sell the most fruit will receive either their own FFA jacket or funds to support a trip of their choice. Orders are due on Nov. 17.
Orders are slated to arrive the week of Dec. 11; customers are to pick up their order at the Agricultural and Technology wing of the high school, located next to the concession stand, or coordinate pick-up with an FFA member. More information regarding pick-up will be sent out via email during the week of Dec. 4. Contactless pick-up options are available, as well as UPS direct shipping from the fruit retailer, PeeJay’s Fresh Fruit.
Questions regarding the fruit sale can be directed to the Schuylerville FFA advisor Mary-Elizabeth Foote at footem@schuylerville.org.
