State Qualifiers
The indoor track team had 11 athletes compete at the state qualifier meet, held Feb. 22 at Hudson Valley Community College. The following athletes competed:
- Meaghan Lynch: Long Jump, Triple Jump, 55 Meter
- Adeline Ballou: 1500m
- Campbell Bailey: High Jump
- 4x800m Girls: Taylor Brown, Sidney Jacobs, Hannah Yonkin, Leandra Bohlmann
- 4x800m Boys: Henry Otto, Willem Foster, Christian LaBounty, Tristan Stallone
Meaghan Lynch placed second in both the Long Jump and Triple jump and place third in the 55m, competing against all divisions/classes in Section 2.
Sectionals
The Girls Indoor Track Team finished tied for 3rd in the section with strong finishes from:
- Campbell Bailey: 2nd place, High Jump
- Taylor Brown: 2nd place, 1000 Meter
- Meaghan Lynch: 1st place, Long Jump, Triple Jump, and 55 Meter.
The boys team got on the scoreboard with a trio of athletes earning points: Nate Lanfear (TJ), Henry Otto (1000m), and Christian LaBounty (1000m).
Foothills Council Championship
The team had a strong showing at the Foothills Council Championship. Adeline Ballou was the 1500m champion and Meaghan Lynch won the 55m, Long Jump, and Triple Jump, all three new school records! The girls finished in 3rd and the boys finished in 5th place.
