The Schuylerville JV and varsity volleyball teams played in two October tournaments aimed at raising funds to benefit those battling metastatic breast cancer. The “Power of Pink” tournaments were both played at the Queensbury Union Free School District to benefit the Side-Out Foundation. Funds go toward a clinical trial specifically for patients with metastatic breast cancer, the most advanced form of the disease and the least funded area of research. This year, the Schuylerville CSD volleyball program was in the top five out of 21 schools for the most funds raised, equaling $1,945. The teams thank the school and local community for their generous support!
