41 Schuylerville High School students participated in the District 3 FFA Leadership Development Events competition held on Friday, Feb. 28 at Greenwich High School. After significant preparation time since January, students tested their leadership skills in a variety of competitions with more than 200 of their peers from around the region. Events included prepared speaking contests, employment interview contests, agriculture issues debates. 14 Schuylerville students are advancing to the Sub-State Competition to participate in team events and 19 students will compete in individual contests on March 14 at Greenville High School in Greene County, NY. The state competition will be held May 14-16 in Syracuse. Congratulations to the following students who placed in the top 6, qualifying them to compete in the Sub-State Competition:
