The boys and girls varsity cross country athletes competed at the Section 2 Championship with an impressive showing for the teams and individuals.
The boys’ team placed 5th with a score of 161 points, led by sophomore Gavin Winacott who finished in 7th place overall. The girls’ team placed 4th with a score of 141 points, led by junior Adeline Ballou who finished in 5th place overall.
Both Winacott and Ballou will advance to the NYSPHSAA Championship on Nov. 16 to represent Schuylerville. Congratulations!
