The U.S. News and World Report has released its 2022 Best High Schools report, which includes data on nearly 18,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schuylerville High School currently ranks in the top 25 percent in the region and state, and in the top 18 percent in the nation.
“This is tremendous news for our high school,” said Principal James Ducharme. “Our rankings are a reflection of the collective work our teachers and students do on a daily basis, as well as their resiliency through the two-year long pandemic. I am very proud of our entire school community for their work and dedication that has resulted in this level of success.”
To calculate the rankings, U.S. News uses the following factors:
- College Readiness
- College Curriculum Breadth
- State Assessment Proficiency
- State Assessment Performance
- Graduation Rate
