Congratulations to the Schuylerville High School varsity golf team for winning the Section 2 Championship at the Fairways of Halfmoon! The team finished two strokes ahead of Mechanicville and Voorheesville. The 2024 title is a back-to-back sectional championship for the team’s seniors.
In addition, Ryken Riper, Kadin Converse, and Adam DeGregory will advance to the ABCD qualifier Monday, Oct. 21.
Foothills Council Tournament
Earlier in the season, the varsity golf team also won the 2024 Foothills Council Tournament, played at Airway Meadows. The top four scores of the team resulted in a total of 315.
